Ichi Villa provides a community for families impacted by autism in Northeast Los Angeles to connect, support, organize activities and share resources with each other.

What We Do

Parents and caretakers meet and share resources at weekly breakfast meetings. A monthly Dads’ meeting provides a relaxed setting for men, with barbeque and card games. Throughout the year, we host informative presentations given by attorneys, therapists, doctors, financial planners and other professionals that serve the special needs community.

Our teen members meet up for bowling, hiking, pizza, dance parties and other adventures each month. The kids explore their creative sides at SPACE (Socialization, Participation, Accessibility, Collaboration, Exploration), a collaborative arts workshop with Los Angeles artists providing an adapted curriculum in a pressure-free, supportive environment.

Our future

As we move forward, we will continue to host seasonal community dance parties for teens with special needs.  We are in the planning stages of creating meaningful and fulfilling job opportunities through sustainable small businesses, in collaboration with autistic young adults.
